Working hours and strategy for April 2025

In April 2025, there will be a total of 21 working days (168 working hours) throughout the month, based on an 8-hour working day and taking into account weekends and public holidays. In April there are 2 public holidays that allow for some well-deserved long time off. Good Friday on April 18th and Easter Monday on April 21st.

 

Distribution of working days per week:

  • Week 14: 5 working days (40 hours)
  • Week 15: 5 working days (40 hours)
  • Week 16: 4 working days (32 hours) (Good Friday, red day)
  • Week 17: 4 working days (32 hours) (Easter Monday, red day)
  • Week 18: 3 business days (24 hours)
Red days and weekends in April 2025:

Suggestion 1: Take time off between Good Friday and Easter Monday

  • Week 17: Take time off April 22–25 (Tuesday to Friday).
    • Effect: You will receive a long leave from Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 27, giving you 10 consecutive days off for only 4 vacation days.

Suggestion 2: Combine with Easter weekend

  • Week 16: Take time off April 15–17 (Tuesday to Thursday).
    • Effect: You will receive a long leave from Saturday, April 13 to Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday), giving you 7 consecutive days off for only 2 vacation days.
